Carving, sawing, scribing, and planing— the work of a wood sculptor is truly versatile. With meticulous care, appreciation for the material, and a keen eye for detail, Fabienne Schürmann creates one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces. To communicate her values and mission to clients, we developed the strategic foundation and crafted the Visual Identity for Holzbildhauerei Schürmann.

With both finesse and sophistication, I designed a simple yet distinctive wordmark. The interplay of contrasting edges and curves mirrors the typical shapes formed in the sculpting of wood. Through close collaboration with Fabienne and on behalf of Büro a+o, I had the privilege of supporting her journey towards independence, developing her Corporate Design, and implementing the printed materials.
